The Potters and the Weasleys are back in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”
I don’t know about you, but I may have to go to Madam Pomfrey’s and lie down after seeing these stunning photos from the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the stage continuation of J.K. Rowling’s beloved magical series.
HPATCC takes place 19 years after Book 7. The New York Times says:
The play (a two-part show that visitors can watch in a single day or over the course of two days) centers on Harry as a middle-aged Ministry of Magic employee, whose son, Albus, is coming to terms with his magical powers. J. K. Rowling co-wrote the story on which the play, by Jack Thorne, is based.
The play features Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Sam Clemmett as Albus Potter and Poppy Miller as Ginny Potter. The Weasley-Granger clan is represented by Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger, and Cherrelle Skeete as Rose Granger-Weasley.
The actors shared a bit about their Harry Potter experience with fans on Pottermore, Rowling’s fan site for lovers of the series. To read more about Cursed Child, disapparate over to Pottermore.
