I’ve had this disorder for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories of dealing with this affliction center around Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose.” To me, the song went something like this:
Baby, I can bear you to a kiss from a rose on the grave.
Ooh, the more I get of you the stranger in heels, and yeah!
Now that your rose is in blue,
the light gets the bloom on the grave.
The actual lyrics went a little something like this:
Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grey
Ooh, the more I get of you, the stranger it feels, yeah
Now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the grey
See? I thought it was a song about cemeteries and crossdressers!
