Tokyo Disney announces plans for 5 incredible new attractions
The United States installments of Disneyworld and Disneyland have many mind-blowing attractions, but Tokyo Disney is raising the theme park bar.
The Tokyo Disney Resort is pulling out all the stops. Some of the new attractions planned for the overseas park include:
- A new version of Soarin’
- A Big Hero 6 spinner ride
- A manor-style ride through the Beast’s castle from Beauty and the Beast
According to Theme Park Insider:
The plans, which also include a 1,500-seat theater for live performances and a Minnie Mouse meet and greet facility, will cost an estimated US$675 million.
I don’t know about you, but I think Disneyworld’s fantasy village sure could use a Beauty and the Beast ride to complement the extremely popular restaurant, Be Our Guest. Just think: park visitors could begin on the ride and wind up in the lobby of Be Our Guest, all ready for French cuisine.
