The Princess may be in another castle, but at least she left us some rad gym shoes to wear.

Nintendo has announced a new partnership with Vans for a collection of officially licensed footwear, apparel, and accessories featuring artwork from games like Super Mario Bros.Duck HuntDonkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda.—Gamespot

Vans started selling the Nintendo shoes on June 3rd, which also feature designs that mimic the retro NES gaming system.  They also have a similar deal with Converse for a line of Mario-themed shoes, but the digital kicks shown below won’t be released until August.  Click here to buy a pair, but head’s up:  the entire website is in Japanese.

Nintendo Vans

Vans and Converse are not the only companies who will have a partnership with Nintendo.  Universal Studios Orlando, home to Harry Potter, the Simpsons, King Kong, and Seuss Landing, will soon welcome Mario and Luigi into its gates.

Alongside Nintendo’s positive earnings report Thursday, the Japanese game giant announced a major partnership with Universal Parks & Resorts to bring the company’s IP to theme parks around the world.—Gamespot
